Research & Analyze 1 addition to the usual Projection Mapping
Projecting on other things
We can create a projection mapping, but this would not be the introduction to the exhibition, but will be being exhibited in a room, like other classes' exhibition. We could project on different items such as chairs, mannequins, cars and more.

Projection on a box: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7kLIaDNW5oQ
Projection on bottle: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ZHef-hAvOM
Projection Mapping on trees: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s33-9FaoOGY
Projection on Ceiling: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ih4sfBl7g3E
All of these projections above, are interesting and cool to watch, rather than always seeing a projection on the college's tower. During our exhibition at MCAST Art & Design, we could project on the walls of an exhibit room, corridors, ceilings, and trees. Since the projection on the tower needs to be done, for at least 5 minutes, then we could continue the story, or just project it every hour on something else, and hence those who missed it on the tower can see it as a part from the exhibition on the corridor's wall for example. Or a continuation of it will continue on the corridor's ceiling.
I would recommend to project something on the ceiling of the corridors, since it would be interesting for audience to see, and would be a different idea from usual.
We could also create an interactive projection mapping, like the projection mapping I analysed which is called "Night Lights", where a projection could be displayed on the tower, and after the audience can interact with it, by using the facade of the building, placed near the tower.
We could also create a room with an installation with chairs, or another item like we saw in the previous task, where Ai Weiweii created a bike installation, for his exhibition named Forever Bikes in China. We could create an installation for example with chairs, and project in it, and hence it would be more interesting, since both the installation and projection would have be done and created by students themselves, rather than projecting on an existing tower.
We could also use the previous projection we did during the Christmas time, and project it on a wall, or on a small prototype of the Valletta Grand Master's Palace.
We can also create an interactive movie. Maybe a movie about different courses in our collage, or just a short film from the media's course. Then, this interactive movie will be displayed on the facade of the collage, on a white canvas, and they should invent some type of interactivity, maybe calling the audience, like "Last Call" the movie did.
Last Call is an interactive movie by 13th Street. This movie is one rare movie, which does not tell you to switch off your mobile before the movie's going to start. This is because a member from the audience will receive a call from an onscreen character during the film. When one buys a ticket for the movie, they ask you to provide them with your mobile number. Then during the movie, one from the audience receives the call, and when you answer, an actress onscreen from the movie will ask you to help and guide her on what to do.
My Opinion:
I really liked this idea, and I think that it would be a great idea to implement during our exhibition. I would have place this idea after the talks instead of the projection mapping. Then after the movie, one can advertise that a projection mapping is happening in studio 4 for example, and hence those who attended to see the projection mapping, can go there and see it too, but then they will remember both experiences they had instead of the projection mapping only.
It will also be a good idea, if we create an interactive projection, where we would place a camera and each individual can take a photo of her/him self before the projection, and then they will appear as the main characters in the projection. This could be implemented for different persons also. Then they would have an option to share it through their Facebook profile, by logging into their Facebook account by using an incognito window, so that they will be sure that it's secure and safe to do so.
These below are some inspirations for this idea.
I Am A Swedish Hero | EPIC Viral Campaign by Radiotjanst. Where one could upload his/her photo, and see him/her self as a part from the movie.
