During my photographic survey, I noticed that the rooms given to us are not bad at all. The 3D studio's studio size is quite good, and I guess that it will fit us quite well. Studio 4 looks a little smaller. I hope that booth rooms will be enough for 42 students to display their work in. Both rooms have a lot of electrical sockets, and this is a good advantage for us, since that most of us might wish to exhibit their thesis, and for example, I am going to need a computer, interactive monitor or tablet which needs to stay on charge most of the time. We could also experiment with projection and lightings, since electrical sockets are found all around both rooms. Both classes has a big television screen, which we can take an advantage of, and display something on them.
The floor-ceiling height is good, and I think that it would be nice if we would create something to use the ceiling too, since it will make both rooms more attractive, since both walls are plain white. Some of the walls had stains on them, and I guess that we will need to re-paint the walls, or cover them with boards or canvas.
The things I liked about these rooms is that both rooms have 2 doors each, and hence we can connect the rooms, or create an entry door, and an exit door. The things that I disliked till now are the windows, since they have bars in front of them, which does not make them attractive at all. But who knows maybe we could cover them with canvas, or use then in a creative way.
In the 3D studio, once also needs to consider the ceiling, and the walls found in half of the room, although we can try to use them to our advantage. The room also have 2 air conditions , and hence it would be great to turn on especially if we are going to have a lot of computers, and projectors on. The doors in the room opens into the inside of the room, and the door will need to stay open during the exhibition, so we need to take care that the door will be available to open and close without any interruptions. Also one can notice the light switch, and key-holder on both sides of the first door. Also an electric socket is found on the ceiling. The room also has a whiteboard.
Studio 4 also have 2 air-conditions, a TV screen, a lot of electrical sockets and windows, where the windows are also covered with bars. Even studio 4 has a whiteboard. The doors in the room opens into the inside of the room, and the door will need to stay open during the exhibition, so we need to take care that the door will be available to open and close without any interruptions. Also there is an electrical switch near each door.
Both rooms have a lot of ventilations, and the ceilings have fluorescent lights, and wire cable holders. Both rooms have some wires uncovered, where the degree 3D studio has wires passing from a fluorescent light to another, and studio 3 have wires near the air-conditions.
We also have the corridor to use, but we need to take into consideration, that if we put a lot of projects for visitors to see in the corridor, we will block the way, and people will move slowly. So I suggest that we place things on walls, floor and ceiling only in the corridor, for people to view while they are walking.
The corridor has two doors, one on each entry. It has a lot of electric sockets available too. There are doors for each room at the corridor, and also have 3 geezer plugs near the ladies bathroom. On the walls of the corridor, one can find lightning bulbs on each side, and light globes on the ceiling. On the ceiling there is also a glass window, which is still with last year's revolution exhibition sticker placed on it.
This is a rough map I drew to keep in mind of how the corridor looks like.

Degree 3D Studio:
I would use this room to display thesis's for those who needs a computer, screen or tablet. The display stands would form a stairs within each wall. Those who's thesis consists of a book or printed material, could also display it on one of the platforms.
This below is the concept I created by using Photoshop of this idea.
Studio 4:
We could use the same concept that we used for the Degree 3D studio, since consistency is important, and since both rooms represents BA(Hons) Graphic Design & Interactive media, I think that we should keep consistency between the two rooms, so that people will notice that both rooms belonged to us. But since this room has a small wall divider in the middle, we can use half of the room for those who wish to exhibit some installation or project which could not be exhibited on the display stands of the 3D studio, and on the other side we should project the projection mapping we did at the Grand Master's Palace, and also exhibit some of the work we did during the whole year, such as the VCP Tunnel's assignment, sound assignment and manifestos. This way we could also promote our work which was did during the year. We could also create something interactive for people to remember and take photos with. This wall will be different all the time, since different people will be posing with it. It will also be an experience to remember if we create something attractive like the Korean artist did in the research above.

Third Idea: Photos on walls. Could be posters or photos of student groups found in each course.

In my opinion, I think that keeping things clean and simple is a good idea, since 42 students will exhibit their work, which means 42 different projects with different form, colour schemes and more. Also I planned to display each student's work, and some from the works we did through our year. The display stands forms a stairs, which might represent different steps we took to come up with our outcomes for our final year, and if we experiment a little with this concept as a whole class, this could be a good idea that our exhibition's aim this year will be that each year is a step to achieve the higher step (degree) or to achieve the highest outcome from your design and project.
