Since our job included the exhibitions documentation our role was to attend and be present for every event during the exhibitions preparations, as we had to take photos and videos of all the departments. This way we were also updated with all the process and also helped when needed.
The footage taken was used to create different videos showing our class and design process for the exhibition. We did our best to take photos and include footage of every student in our course in the videos, so as to avoid unfairness.
All photos taken were uploaded on the ‘bagdim’ Google drive for everyone to see and download as some of the students wanted and kept asking for the photos for their personal weebly blog. Some of the photos taken were also uploaded on the MCAST Facebook page to show the exhibitions process in order to entice people to visit the exhibition.
The footage was used to create several videos showing the exhibitions process. The first video included footage from the fundraising event, whilst the other videos included footage of students working. One of the videos included the whole school, whilst the other videos mainly focused on our class. The videos were accompanied by a song produced by Toni Gialanze.
The following images (slideshow) include various print screens taken from the videos which were done.

Besides the footage shown in the videos, more were taken. However not all of them were used due to two reasons. Some students complained that several people were seen more then once in the videos and some footage had to be kept secret, these included the auditions videos and the videos taken for the projection mapping.
Since we were involved in all the departments due to our main duty we ended up helping when needed. One particular duty I enjoyed helping with was filming the dance/performance for the projection mapping, as they needed a camera and I was happy to help. These videos were taken in the media studio using a green screen. Several videos of Sergio (the performer) were taken, these included the silhouettes which were projected on the side of the towers as well as the main dance and moves which were needed for the projection team, in order to time the performers moves to create the needed visuals.

As stated since we were filming every department, we ended up helping when needed. Apart from helping in the projection, I also helped in construction mainly in painting the stands and helping during the final touches. I also helped during the second fundraiser, as there weren’t enough students. Initially I was supposed to take footage in order to create an other video featuring the activity, however they student in charge weren’t coping so I took the responsibility of doing the non-alcoholic cocktails, since the staff in charge wasn’t coping with the amount of work flow, as many students and lecturers from the institute came for our fundraiser. My only concern during this fundraiser was that in order to help out with the work, I couldn’t take enough footage in order to create a video.

I also helped in the final arrangements for design and print department. My first task was to check each and every individual booklet, as some had misprints, which included extra or duplicated pages as well as missing pages. My second task was to insert an extra copy of the events schedule (opening night programme), since a couple of changes had to be done and the booklets were already printed. Our first task was to insert this individual paper inside the booklet, however we were later informed to glue the programme instead. After completing about 30 booklets, we were informed that the programme could be left unglued, as they weren’t neat or presentable, due to the glue stains and finger prints. However if glued, the programme would have not been adequate since on top it included a heading stating that it is the updated programme, thus it made more sense to not hide the previous programme.
The following slideshow, includes various different images and screen shots of the work we did. The slideshow includes various images from different events and departments including, fundraising, auditions, construction and printing.
The auditions footage was not used, so as to not reveal the idea behind the projection and due to the fact that they are grainy, as they were taken in the hall.

Our department was also in charge of creating a printed documentation of the whole exhibition process. We decided to keep the editorial simple and decided that it should reflect the brand. This was done through the use of various colours, used for the logos. Each colour represents a section within the book. We decided to divide the book into section according to the departments, each section includes a brief introduction of the work done by the department respectively and various images of all the students working.
The slideshow below include sketch, images and photographs which were taken and included in the documentation editorial.

I am very pleased with my group as we all attend school regularly, helped each other when needed and did our job for the exhibition.
Since we were present in all the departments and the construction team needed help, I was also in charge of painting some stand, stocking the wood and repainting the corridor walls. I believed we managed to work better, the night before the exhibition when a couple of students, including myself stayed at school and all helped the construction team under the supervision of Mr.Daniel.
With regard to the editorial, we decided to print it at a local printer, Impressions as their work is outstanding and professional.
Over all I am very pleased with this module and my department, as I was included in each department, I was allowed to help when needed and also share my opinions, mainly with the projection team, as I spent many hours with them recording Sergio’s training.
However I was a bit disappointed by some students who kept saying that our department was the easiest and we had nothing to do compared to them. I believe we gave an equal share just like each and every student, as unlike some students we kept going to school even when our work was ready, in order to help our class finish the exhibition space, as it was also in my interest to set up and finish the exhibition on time.
