Exhibition Organisation
Fundraisers
In the beginning, Kimberly, Lara & Myself made a class presentation so as to tell the whole class what was done the year before in the HND Interactive Media Year 2 course and why we needed the funds and where did they go.
To generate funds for our class exhibition we had organised TWO fundraisers at the Institute. The first one was to sell yummy goodies such as Doughnuts, Mocktails, Popcorn, Cinnabons and more. The event was a HUGE success by selling out everything and we were highly impressed by the feedback. It was simply amazing. Thanks to the Twistees sponsorship we got a small kiosk, which was an eye catcher, and it really helped us deliver the doughnuts from it while thanks to the Smart Sponsorship, we had gotten 300 doughnuts and a lot of discounts when Kim and Lara went shopping to the place. Since the doughnuts had sold out, we got € 300 easy without any expenses on them, which was really breathtaking!
The second fundraiser was also a GREAT success with all the burgers being sold out apart from the bags of chips unfortunately. I managed to get a BBQ from my own home so we could cook the burgers, as well as equipment from San Gwann Scouts so we could get a burner, chip pan, fire extinguishers and blankets and other items. With big regret, I couldn't help out a lot in the second Fundraiser apart from getting equipment as I had to give the 'We Will Rock You' Projection Mapping a priority.
Overall, the hard work paid off as we managed to gather the funds we needed for our class exhibit and every time we needed to buy something, we didn't have the worry that funds were low.

Sponsorships
As part of the Management team we had to deal with various sponsors so as to fund the exhibition as well as to gather any type of supplies for our class students. Below is a video of Kimberly and myself had to go and pick up the 72 cans of Pringles that we got for free as part of one of our sponsors, as well as below is an email with Pixie Software regarding a fund that they forwarded it us.
