MCAST Art & Design Facebook Page Documentation
At the beginning of the scholastic year, I was tasked with updating the Institute's Facebook page which can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/McastArtandDesign.
Throughout this assignment, I kept on that role as well, uploading images, videos, statuses related to the Exhibition. I created a Facebook Event as well where details of the exhibition can be found as well as uploading statuses over there so people who clicked on 'Going' would be regularly updated on the event.
As one can see below, I also did a countdown starting from weeks before, then days and at last hours to the Opening Night of the exhibition to raise hype and awareness of the event.
What also helped awareness was the fact that we made the Facebook Cover Photos available to students. We had sent them an email so they could upload their preferred colours as their Facebook cover photo and this was an automatic promotion for the exhibition and the students themselves.
Over the month of June, the Page EXPLODED with likes, comments, activity and it was something great to see as all the student's hard work, finally paid off.
