A manifesto is an issued phrasal statement of the ideas and goals. An artistic manifesto has the same meaning, but the views of it are of an artist or an artistic movement which represents the ideas of an artists, different thoughts, meanings, creativity and designs. The first art manifesto was introduced in Italy in 1909 with the Futurists, an artistic and social movement which emphasized themes associated with contemporary concepts of the future including technology, objects like cas and more. Historical Manifestos
A historical manifesto I found is the Futurist Manifesto by Filippo Tommaso Marinetti who is an Italian poet. This manifesto was published on February 1909, in an Italian newspaper. This manifesto states an "artistic philosophy, futurism, that was a rejection of the past, and a celebration of speed, machinery, violence, youth and industry". This manifesto was also an "avocation of the modernization and cultural rejuvenation of Italy".
Manifesto Of Futurism
"
1. We want to sing the love of danger, the habit of energy and rashness.
2. The essential elements of our poetry will be courage, audacity and revolt.
3. Literature has up to now magnified pensive immobility, ecstasy and slumber. We want to exalt movements of aggression, feverish sleeplessness, the double march, the perilous leap, the slap and the blow with the fist.
4. We declare that the splendor of the world has been enriched by a new beauty: the beauty of speed. A racing automobile with its bonnet adorned with great tubes like serpents with explosive breath ... a roaring motor car which seems to run on machine-gun fire, is more beautiful than the Victory of Samothrace.
5. We want to sing the man at the wheel, the ideal axis of which crosses the earth, itself hurled along its orbit.
6. The poet must spend himself with warmth, glamour and prodigality to increase the enthusiastic fervor of the primordial elements.
7. Beauty exists only in struggle. There is no masterpiece that has not an aggressive character. Poetry must be a violent assault on the forces of the unknown, to force them to bow before man.
8. We are on the extreme promontory of the centuries! What is the use of looking behind at the moment when we must open the mysterious shutters of the impossible? Time and Space died yesterday. We are already living in the absolute, since we have already created eternal, omnipresent speed.
9. We want to glorify war — the only cure for the world — militarism, patriotism, the destructive gesture of the anarchists, the beautiful ideas which kill, and contempt for woman.
10. We want to demolish museums and libraries, fight morality, feminism and all opportunist and utilitarian cowardice.
11. We will sing of the great crowds agitated by work, pleasure and revolt; the multi-colored and polyphonic surf of revolutions in modern capitals: the nocturnal vibration of the arsenals and the workshops beneath their violent electric moons: the gluttonous railway stations devouring smoking serpents; factories suspended from the clouds by the thread of their smoke; bridges with the leap of gymnasts flung across the diabolic cutlery of sunny rivers: adventurous steamers sniffing the horizon; great-breasted locomotives, puffing on the rails like enormous steel horses with long tubes for bridle, and the gliding flight of aeroplanes whose propeller sounds like the flapping of a flag and the applause of enthusiastic crowds."

Modern Manifestos
A manifesto I found online was Mr Mac's manifesto, created by Craig McAnuff, which is a graphic designer. This manifesto was created as a "Creative manifesto, which outlines what it is you believe in/care about and what, in an ideal world, you would like to do in relation to this as a creative person".
I like this manifesto, as it has a grid that one took care to follow with when designing it. Everything is aligned together. Since this manifesto talks about branding, being creative and all, I would use a better color scheme, since I think that with a bit of color, it would have looked more artistic and creative, for example the part when he wrote "colour" in two different shades of colors, it took the design to another level of creativity, which makes it more attractive.

Another manifesto is this one below, created by Ryan Molan. He bases his manifesto on graphic design and typography. In this manifesto he lists down those things which he wishes to do from day to day, and will use this manifesto as a reminder to make sure he does those things. He printed his manifesto on wooden panels to make them have a long lasting life, so that he can keep them with him for a long period of time.
I really like this manifesto, I like how all the typography is placed near each other looking like a puzzle, everything is clean and legible. Color scheme is simple and neat also, where he kept the title page nearly blank in relation to the others, and hence it divides the two scenes, where the one on the left hand side is based on what he is going to do and his career, while the other is based more on the way he is going to live, to be healthier, travel ect. In fact he divided the two sections by work, and home.

Other Manifestos which I really like their design, color scheme and style.
Own position to these examples
Since we need to create a manifesto related to our work in the projection mapping, these artistic and design manifestos were sure an inspiration, since it is our first time of creating a manifesto. We are going to use short lines from our process to form the manifesto, like these artists did in theirs above. Also we need to create a grid and work up with it, so that our manifesto will be neatly divided accordingly and placed on our canvas. Also I liked the idea of Molan, where he printed his manifesto on a wooden panels, and that it does not have to be only on paper. Creativity with the design, and printing materials, would create a more interesting and attractive outcome, which will not make our manifesto boring to look at, and follow with.
