After we both did our research, we started to come up with ideas on how to create our manifesto, in relationship to concept art, and storyboarding. We came out with different ideas.
Our first idea was to create a collage by cutting out different words found in news papers and magazines. This idea was creative and fun, but would take a lot of time to find all the words needed.
The second idea was to print our manifesto on a plate to be like a decoration, but this idea wasn't creative a lot compared that our manifesto would be related to concept art and storyboarding. Then we started to think of an idea which is creative, and original.
Some other ideas which passed through our minds were paper weaving, a traditional storyboard, and a stencil.
Then, we took the storyboard idea to another level. We decided to create a storyboard in form of a puzzle, where each puzzle piece will contain a sentence from the manifesto on it. We decided to put one piece out from the puzzle, while the others will be stuck in place. We are going to use foam board to print our puzzle on, while another to print the background and title. Then we will cut and the puzzle on another foam board so that we will have a 3D look.
We really liked this idea since we compared the steps at different stages which are taken before a successful design such as idea generation, concept art, mind mapping, story boarding . The whole process was divided into pieces, but when they are all connected together, they make your project a one piece.
We started to write down points and sentences to build our manifesto, which will be based about the creation of concept art and story boarding. We created short sentences which will be an inspiration while doing an own project.
We decided to use the same font as typography for this manifesto, but will make use of different styles of that particular font such as bold, and italic.
