This projection mapping was of great interest to me since it is not like the other normal projection mapping that we are used to see. This projection mapping is different from other projections since the art of acting by a real human being is incorporated with the projection through interaction. This all begins when the human being is seen opening a book and as soon as he opens it a beam of light emerges from it, which gives the start to his adventure. The elements that were also used made it possible for the viewer to see that the person was interacting with a cartoon character whereby the colour scheme that was used in this projection was a black and white theme. In the projection mapping one could see a lot of different | texture features such as grass, light, and graffiti amongst others whereby the human being was interacting with all these features. A very interesting scene was when the performer starts to dance and continues his story by moving the beam of light. This gave the viewer the effect of giving life to static objects. One could also notice how much the character was into the story. This is because it was clear enough that the viewer could see the elements clear such as wind, floating character and other important elements. Finally, at the end, the projection was ended when the performer interacted with the illustrative character by catching the character with the same book and close the story. |
